Diane was born and raised in New York City and is of Haitian descent. She developed a passion for parties & event planning at an early age. Baking her first cake at 8 years old and coordinating her fist wedding at the age of 15. As a junior in High School, she directed, host, and walked in her first fashion show, enjoying such a success that the school requested and financed her vision to be an even more elaborate show, they included additional runways, special effects, and intricate lighting the following year. The school has since hosted many fashions shows as she has left a legacy for runway events and school fundraisers. Diane has since planned and hosted events and parties of all kinds. While weddings, anniversaries, birthdays are her usual focus, her most recent notable success was the “Sons & Daughters of God Royal Ball” Singles Ball. The formal event included music, dancing, dinner and award ceremony. Diane has also worked with Trinity Baptist Church as Special Events Director for their Family Life Center. There she directed & planned a number of large events to include: dinner theatre events, networks socials, banquets, concerts, employee celebrations, and many other venues that has taken her passion and talent for event planning to new levels of planning, Diane was given the opportunity to plan a private party for city officials such as the mayor, sheriff and city council members. With a few staff members she hosted an evening full of entertainment, presentations and great food. Her partnerships and opportunities have helped direct her focus and skills for her very own event planning business. Today, Diane is the founder of Pearl Of Haiti Catering. Diane brings business management, hospitality, cultural awareness, planning expertise and the knowledge that all a party needs is a few people, good food & music, and a comfortable venue.
